Monika grew up on Vancouver Island which she has a deep appreciation for the community and the natural beauty of the area. However, she left to move to the drier climate where she is much closer to family and where she can still enjoy many of the similar outdoor activities. While watching her father (Marten Holst) run a successful real estate business, Monika felt her passion to be a realtor early in life. Proudly carrying on the Holst legacy, she became licensed in 1995 working alongside her father. In the course of her career, she has learned the real estate industry inside-out and from many perspectives.

Monika is an expert in real estate relationships from her experience as a real estate conveyancer in a law firm and her time as an office manager and senior conveyancer in a real estate brokerage. Combined with her extensive sales experience as a licensed realtor, Monika has unique and impressive values to offer to her clients. When Monika is not actively going above and beyond for her clients, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, exploring the area of Kamloops and the many outdoor activities it has to offer from hiking, skiing, photography, golfing, pickleball and also travelling. Since moving back, Monika is excited to engage with her community, rekindle old friendships, make new connections, and continue providing exceptional service to her clients.
